RBPF Nassau: Police investigates shooting incident that has left 1 male injured - Drug seizure report

POLICE INVESTIGATES SHOOTING INCIDENT
Nassau, Bahamas - Police
on the Island of New Providence are seeking the public’s assistance in
identifying and locating the person responsible for a shooting incident
Thursday, 21st, February 2019, which left an adult male with injuries.
According
to reports, shortly before 2:00am, a man was sitting in a vehicle at
Ross Davis Estates, when he heard the sound of gunshots, and a short
time later, realized that he had been shot. He was transported to
hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Police
are appealing to members of the public who may have information
concerning this incident, to contact the Central Detective Unit at
502-9991/2.
Investigations are ongoing.
DRUG SEIZURE REPORT – 3 MALES IN CUSTODY
Police,
have recovered a quantity amount of suspected Marijuana in three
separate incidents and have taken three men into custody, Wednesday,
20th January, 2019
In the first incident, according to reports,
shortly after 11:00am South Eastern Division Officers assisted by K-9
Officers, conducted a search of three men and the area they were
standing, while at Poinciana Boulevard, South Beach and recovered three
plastic bags with a quantity of suspected marijuana.
The three men were taken into custody and are expected to be formally charged before a Magistrate Court this week.
In
the second incident, according to reports, shortly after 1:00pm, South
Eastern Division Officers assisted by K-9 Officers, acting on
information, conducted a search of a vacant lot on Daisy Lane, Garden
Hills and recovered two plastic bags with a quantity of suspected
marijuana.
No arrest was made in this incident. Investigations are ongoing.
In
the third incident, according to reports, before 2:00pm, South Eastern
Division Officers assisted by K-9 Officers, conducted a search of a
vacant lot on Soldier Road, and recovered a quantity of suspected
marijuana.
No arrest was made in this incident. Investigations are ongoing.
