Nassau police investigate abduction of 3-yr-old male

Nassau, Bahamas - Police on the Island of New Providence are actively investigating the abduction of a 3 year old male child, Saturday, 16th February, 2019.

According to reports, shortly before 6:00pm, the child, Shavar Bain, was playing on a bicycle in front of his residence in South Beach Estate, when he was approached by two females, who came from a silver vehicle and took him from the bicycle. The women put him into the vehicle, and sped away.

Shavar was last seen wearing a blue Spiderman shirt, brown pants and black shoes.

Police are asking anyone with information that can assist in locating Shavar Bain to contact Crime Stoppers at 328-TIPS (8477), the Central Detective Unit at 502-9991/2 or the nearest police station.

Investigations are ongoing.
