RBPF Nassau: Police investigating a shooting incident which has left an adult male dead - Armed robbery

POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING THE COUNTRY’S LATEST HOMICIDE. 

Nassau, Bahamas - Police on New Providence are investigating a shooting incident Wednesday 19th September, 2019 which has left an adult male dead.

According to reports, shortly before 11:00pm, a man was sitting in his vehicle at Bimini Avenue off Market Street, when he was approached by an armed man who opened fire in his direction, injuring him before running away. The injured man was transported to hospital and later succumbed to his injuries. 

Police are appealing to members of the public, who may have information that can assist with this investigation, to contact the Central Detective Unit at 502-9991/2, Crime stoppers at 328-TIPS (8477) or the nearest police station. 

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE INVESTIGATES SHOOTING INCIDENT

Police on the Island of New Providence are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident Wednesday 18th September, 2019, which left two adult males with injuries.

According to reports, shortly after 4:00pm, three men were at a mechanic shop on Pinedale Road off Wulff Road, when an armed man entered the shop and begin firing at the men, hitting two of them before making good his escape. The injured men were transported to hospital and are listed in stable condition.  

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE INVESTIGATES ARMED ROBBERY  

Police on the Island of New Providence are seeking assistance in identifying and locating the men responsible for an armed robbery which occurred Wednesday 18th September, 2019.

According to reports, shortly before 11:00pm an armed man entered a wash house located on Baillou Hill Road near Carmichael Road, held an employee at bay and robbed the establishment of cash, before making good his escape. 
Investigations are ongoing.

  • Use good manners to help ease tensions that can lead to violence. Teach kids that showing respect for themselves and for the needs of others can prevent crime.
