POLICE SEARCHING FOR ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS AND TWO STOLEN VEHICLES

Nassau, Bahamas - POLICE are seeking the public’s help in locating several male suspects responsible two separate overnight arm robberies.

In the first incident, shortly after 10:00pm on Saturday 16th September 2017, a man was in his Honda Civic car on Dawson Street, when three males in a gray Ford Explorer vehicle approached and robbed him of his cell phone, cash and vehicle before speeding off.

Then shortly after 2:00am on Sunday 17th September 2017, a woman had just pulled up to her home located in Kennedy Subdivision in her silver Nissan Fuga vehicle license plate AF3436, when three males approached in a Red Honda Fit car armed with a handgun and robbed her of her vehicle before speeding off.

Investigations are ongoing.

SHOOTING VICTIM DIES IN HOSPITAL

POLICE are searching for two male suspects responsible a shooting incident that has left a 17 – year old male dead on Saturday 16th September 2017.

According to reports, shortly after 6:00pm, the victim was walking on Johnson Road, Fox Hill, with another male, when two males in a gray coloured vehicle approached and shot at them before speeding off. The victim was rushed to hospital in critical condition where he later died. The other male was not injured.

Investigations are ongoing.

WOMAN IN HOSPITAL AFTER BEING INTENTIONALLY HIT BY A VEHICLE

POLICE are searching for a female suspect who struck a woman with a vehicle leaving her detained in hospital on Sunday 17th September 2017.

Reports are that shortly after 2:30am, two women were involved in an argument in the parking lot of a local bank located on Blue Hill Road South that led to one of the women intentionally being struck by a vehicle. The victim was rushed to hospital where she is detained in serious condition. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.

Police are following some significant leads into this incident. Investigations are ongoing.

Police are appealing to the public to share information on any illegal/suspicious activities in their communities, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, members of the public are urged to anonymously contact the police at 919 or Crime Stoppers at 328-tips (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Island)
