Nassau, Bahamas - In the first incident, shortly before 9:00pm on Saturday 1st August 2015, two men entered a business establishment located off Farrington Road and robbed the cashier of a large amount of cash before fleeing on foot.

In the second incident, shortly after 12:00 midnight on Sunday 2nd August 2015, a man was sitting in his black 2008 Kia Sportage vehicle on West Bay Street, when two men armed with handguns approached and drove off with him to Gladstone Road, where they forced him out of his vehicle and sped off.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) OR 1-242-300-8476 (FAMILY ISLANDS)

WEEKLY PREVENTION CRIME TIP

WHEN RETURNING TO YOUR CAR, HAVE YOUR KEYS READY SO YOU CAN ENTER YOUR CAR QUICKLY AND BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS. IF YOU HAVE TO LOOK INTO A PURSE OR A POCKET TO FIND THEM, IT TAKES EXTRA TIME AND YOU LOSE SIGHT OF WHAT IS AROUND YOU, WHICH COULD ALLOW SOMEONE TO SNEAK UP ON YOU.
