POLICE SEEK PUBLIC'S HELP IN SOLVING COUNTRY’S LATEST HOMICIDE

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are searching for the suspects responsible for a shooting that has left one male dead on Wednesday, 27th December, 2017.

According to reports, shortly after 3:00pm, a man was in his home at Sixth Street, Coconut Grove when two men armed with firearms entered and shot him before fleeing in a Honda vehicle.  He was pronounced dead on the scene. No one else in the home was injured. 

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SOLVING ARMED ROBBERY

Police are asking the public to come forth with any information they may have in solving an Armed Robbery that occurred on Wednesday, 27th December, 2017.

According to reports, shortly before 1:00pm on Wednesday, 27th December, 2017 a man armed with firearm entered a fast food restaurant on the premises of the Habour Bay Shopping Center, East Bay Street, held the employees at bay and rob the establishment of cash before fleeing in a Honda vehicle License # AP0317. None of the customers were robbed or injured during this incident.  

Investigations are ongoing. 

SHOOTING VICTIM IDENTIFIED

The man who was shot and killed on Commonwealth Boulevard, Elizabeth Estate on Tuesday, 26th December, 2017 has been identified as Alex Rahming, age 25 years of Elizabeth Estate. 

Police are appealing to members of the public, especially persons who were in the immediate area during the time of the incident, to come forth with any information that they may have, that can assist in solving this matter.
