POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SOLVING AN OVERNIGHT ARMED ROBBERY

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are asking the public to come forth with any information they may have in solving an Armed Robbery which occurred on Thursday, 28th December, 2017.  Shortly before 1:00am, two men and a woman had just pulled up to a home in Coral Harbour,  when they were approached by two men armed with firearms, who forced them into the homes, tied them up and robbed them of cash and other items before fleeing in one of the victims black Ford truck. The truck was later recovered on East Street south.   Investigations are ongoing.

19 ARRESTED, 52 DRIVERS TICKETED BY MOBILE DIVISION OFFICERS DURING A 48 HOURS PERIOD

Proactive Policing by officers from Mobile Division along with targeted patrols intended to reduce crime, and to minimize the ability for criminals to commit criminal activities, has resulted in the arrest of 19 persons during the past 48 hours for, drug possession, stealing and outstanding court warrants. 

Additionally, 52 drivers were ticketed for various traffic violations.
