RBPF Nassau: Police seek public’s help in solving armed robberies - Police investigating illegal fish

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SOLVING ARMED ROBBERIES


Nassau, Bahamas - Police are asking members of the public to come forth with any information they may have in solving two armed robberies which occurred Saturday, 7th July, 2018.

In the first incident, according to reports, shortly after 4:00pm a male armed with a firearm entered a snack food store on Balfour Avenue and Minnie street, held the cashier at bay and robbed the establishment of cash and other items, before running away.

In the second incident, according to reports, a male was sitting on his motorbike on Soldier Road and Windsor Place Road, when he was approached by two armed men who robbed him of cash before getting onto his 2017 black and blue Yamaha motorbike License #1385 and speeding away.

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE INVESTIGATING ILLEGAL FISH

According to reports, shortly after 9:00am Saturday, 7th July, 2018 officers of the Royal Bahamas Defense Force arrested six American men after they were found fishing in waters in the Exuma Land and Sea Park. The men were found in possession of a quantity of scale fish.

Investigations are ongoing.
