Nassau police probe apparent drowning of male visitor

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a male visitor who died following a snorkeling incident on Tuesday 20th June 2017.

Reports are that shortly after 3:00pm, a male visitor was snorkeling in waters off Rose Island, when he lost consciousness. The male victim was taken to shore where he was given first aid assistance and transported to Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
