POLICE SEARCHING FOR ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECT

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are seeking the public’s help in locating two male suspects responsible for an armed robbery that occurred on Wednesday 24th August 2016.

Reports are that shortly before 10:00pm, a woman had just pulled up to her home located in Dignity Gardens in her 2000 Mazda Verisa car license number 319123, when two males armed with a handgun approached and robbed her of her vehicle before speeding off.

Investigations are ongoing.

SHOOTING DEATH SUSPECT IN CUSTODY

An adult male is in custody assisting police into a shooting death of a male. Selective Enforcement Team officers arrested the male shortly after 1:00am on Thursday 25th August 2016.

Reports are that shortly before 10:00pm Tuesday 23rd August 2016, a man was involved in an argument with another man in front of a home located at Blue Hill Road South, that led to him being shot. The man was rushed to hospital where later succumbed to his injury.

Investigations are ongoing.
