Nassau police seek public's help with 4 arm robberies, one Suspect arrested

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are seeking the public’s help in solving four armed robberies that occurred on Saturday 28th March 2015.

In the first incident, shortly before 12:00noon, a man was walking on Thompson Boulevard, when two men in a Honda Accord license number 263352 armed with a handgun robbed him of a DVD player and sped off.

A short while later police acting on intelligence arrested a 24-year old male in connection with this incident.

In the second incident, shortly after 4:00pm, a man was driving his public service bus on Claridge Road, when three men armed with a handgun robbed several passengers of small amounts of cash before fleeing on foot.

In the third incident, shortly after 6:30pm, two men armed with a handgun robbed a store located at East Shirley Street of a small amount of cash before fleeing on foot.

In the fourth incident, shortly after 9:30pm, a male walking on Carmichael Road East, when two men in a Honda Accord vehicle, armed a handgun, robbed him of a small amount of cash before speeding off.

Investigations are ongoing in all of these incidents.
