Security officer shot at Coal Harbour - Man arrested for stealing by reason of service

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN APPREHENDING SUSPECTS IN SHOOTING INCIDENT

Nassau, Bahamas - Reports are that shortly after 3:00am on Tuesday 22nd September 2015, a man was sitting in his vehicle outside of a business establishment in Coral Harbour, where he is employed as a Security Officer, when two men armed with handguns approached and shot him. The man was rushed to hospital where he remains in stable condition.

Investigations are ongoing.

MAN ARRESTED FOR STEALING BY REASON OF SERVICE

According to reports, shortly before 3:00am on Tuesday 22nd September 2015, officers from the Flying Squad acting on information arrested a 33 – year old man of Windsor Lane for questioning reference to Stealing by Reason of Service.

POLICE ARE APPEALING TO ANYONE WITH INFORMATION REGARDING ANY CRIME, NO MATTER HOW SMALL OR INSIGNIFICANT (THE TIP) MAY SEEM, TO ANONYMOUSLY CALL POLICE AT 919 OR CRIME STOPPERS AT 328-TIPS (8477) (NEW PROVIDENCE) OR 1-242-300-8476 (FAMILY ISLANDS)
