POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SOLVING TWO HOMICIDES

Nassau, Bahamas - POLICE are seeking the public’s assistance in solving two separate shooting incidents that has left two men dead on Saturday 26th July 2014.

In the first incident, shortly after 2:30am, two men were brought to the Hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. A short while latter one the men succumbed to his injuries. The other man is detained in serious condition.

In the second incident, shortly after 5:30am a woman and a man was asleep at their Meadows Street home, when two men armed with handguns forced their way inside and fatally shot the man to his head. The suspects then fled on foot. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have an active investigation into both incidents to determine a motive and the suspect/s involved.

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SOLVING STABBING INCIDENT

POLICE are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a stabbing incident that has left two men detained in hospital on Saturday 26th July 2014.

According to reports, shortly after 3:00am, two men were involved in an altercation with a group of men at Victoria Avenue that resulted in one of the men being stabbed to the stomach and the other stabbed to the chest area. The two men were transported to hospital where they are detained in stable condition.

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SOLVING ARM ROBBERY

POLICE are seeking the public’s assistance in solving an armed robbery that occurred on Friday 25th July 2014.

According to reports, shortly after 11:00am, a man hand just pulled up to a business establishment on Rosetta Street, when two men armed with handguns, robbed him of an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing in a silver vehicle license number 244998.

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE are appealing to anyone with information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands)
