RBPF Nassau: Shooting incident, 2 in hospital - Police seize handgun

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are seeking the public’s help in solving a shooting incident that has left two men detained in hospital on Monday 15th September 2014.

According to reports, shortly before 10:00pm, two brothers were sitting down in front of their home located on Homestead Street, when two men on a bicycle shot one of them to the arm and the other to the thigh. The assailants then sped off. The victims were transported to hospital, where one of them is listed in serious condition and the other in stable condition.

Investigations are ongoing.

Police Seize Handgun
-  According to reports, shortly after 10:00pm on Monday 15th September 2014, officers from the Firearm Tracing and Investigations Unit, acting on intelligence, went to the rear of a building located on East West Highway, where they uncovered a handgun. No one was arrested for this incident.
