Nassau suspect arrested for assault with a deadly weapon - Pedestrian struck and killed

SUSPECT ARRESTED BY MOBILE DIVISION OFFICERS FOR ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON.

Nassau, Bahamas - Shortly before 7:00pm on Sunday 22nd February 2015, Mobile Division officers acting on intelligence arrested a 22 – year old male at his residence located at Golden Way off Carmichael Road for questioning reference to Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

PEDESTRIAN STRUCK AND KILLED


POLICE are investigating a traffic accident that has left an adult male pedestrian dead on Sunday 22nd February 2015.

According to reports, shortly before 12:00midnight, a man was driving his 2006 Honda Inspire vehicle north on Sir Milo Butler Highway between Carmichael and Fire Trail Roads, when he struck a pedestrian who ran into his pathway. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigations are ongoing.
