Nassau traffic accident victim dies in hospital - 7 murder suspects in custody - 2 victims identified

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT VICTIM DIES IN HOSPITAL

Nassau, Bahamas - On Friday 28th August 2015, around 6:00pm, a traffic accident occurred on Bernard Road involving a Honda Trial Motorcycle occupied by two males and a 2008 Hyundai Tucson car driven by an adult female. The two males received serious injuries and were rushed to hospital in critical condition.

One of the males succumbed to his injuries earlier today. Investigations are ongoing.

SEVEN SUSPECTS IN CUSTODY FOR MURDER

According to reports, officers from the Flying Squad acting on intelligence took seven men into custody on Monday 31st August 2015 for questioning reference to murder.

TWO VICTIMS IDENTIFIED

The first victim has been identified as 64 – year old John Henry Frazier of Johnson Road, Fox Hill, who died hospital on Wednesday 26th August 2015 as a result of injuries received on Monday 24th August 2015.

The second victim has been identified as 24 – year old Omar Barton of Flamingo Close, Jubilee Gardens, who was shot and killed at Jubilee Gardens on 31st August 2015.
