RBPF Nassau: Two Arm Robbery Suspects in Custody - Searching for Suspects in Three Separate Shootings

TWO ARM ROBBERY SUSPECTS IN CUSTODY

Nassau, Bahamas - Police took two males into custody, in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Thursday 29th June 2017.

According to reports, shortly after 12:00 noon, a woman was leaving her home located on Oak Hill Road off Skyline Drive, when two males armed with a handgun accosted her, and forced her into her home. The two males then searched the woman’s home and left in her white Chevy Equinox vehicle license plate number 188701. Police later arrested two males in connection with this incident.

POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECTS IN THREE SEPARATE SHOOTINGS

Police are searching for the suspects responsible for three separate shooting incidents that have left three men detained in hospital on Thursday 29th June 2017.

In the first incident, shortly after 1:00pm, a man was sitting in front of a home at Dorsett Street, Fox Hill, talking to two other men, when the occupants of a white Chevy Equinox vehicle pulled up and shot him before speeding off. The victim was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition. Police later arrested two males in connection with this incident.

In the second incident, shortly before 10:00pm, a man was sitting in front of his home located at Mantol Street, Montel Heights, when two males armed with a handgun approached and shot him before fleeing on foot. The victim was transported to hospital, where he remains in serious condition.

In the final incident, shortly after 10:00pm, a man was standing with several persons in front of a home located at Price Street, Nassau Village, when the occupants of a Nissan vehicle pulled up and shot him before speeding off. The victim was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition.

Investigations are ongoing.
