POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SOLVING THREE ARMED ROBBERIES

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in solving three separate armed robberies that occurred on Thursday 18th September 2014.

In the first incident, shortly before 10:00am, a man armed with a handgun robbed a convenient store located at Jumbey Street, Windsor Place of a cell phone and cash before fleeing on a moped.

In the second incident, shortly after 11:00am, two men armed with handguns robbed a business establishment located on Faith Avenue North of an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing on foot.

In the third incident, shortly after 4:00pm, a man armed with a handgun robbed a convenient store located at Klonaris Drive off Soldier Road of an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing on foot.Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SOLVING A STABBING INCIDENT

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in solving stabbing incident that has left a woman detained in hospital on Thursday 18th September 2014.

According to reports, around 11:30pm, a woman was involved in an altercation with a woman known to her at Strachan’s Alley off Kemp Road that resulted in her being stabbed to the head and neck. The victim was transported to hospital, where her condition is listed as serious.Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE are appealing to anyone with information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands)
