From:TheBahamasWeekly.com Royal Bahamas Police Force The operation targeted persons wanted for a number of serious crimes and persons involved in the sale of drugs and possession of firearms. One of the suspects is being held for murder and the others for suspected stolen vehicles and drug possession. The operation, which is consistent with the Commissioner’s 2014 Policing Priorities, was under the command of Assistant Commissioner Leon Bethel. Nassau, Bahamas - Police are reporting that five persons were arrested and a handgun along with several vehicles suspected to be stolen were seized during an overnight operation.
