RBPF: Suspect arraigned on causing harm charge – Grand Bahama

Onassis Justin Williams age 19 years of Hudson Avenue was arraigned before Magistrate Charlton Smith in Magistrate Court #2 on Causing Harm Charge. He pleaded guilty to the charge and was conditionally discharged, placed on probation for 1 year, to serve 200 hours of community service and to compensate the virtual complainant $500. He is to return to court on the 21st July 2015 to see if all requirements were being met. Failure to do so he will spend six months at Her Majesty’s Prison in New Providence. This is in connection to the incident at the Grand Bahama Post Office that was posted on social media.

He was also charged with Unlawful Entry in an unrelated matter and was not required to enter a plea. The matter was adjourned to the 15th September 2014. Bail was denied and he was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison.This is in connection to a matter that was reported to the police on the 8th July 2014.
