POLICE SEARCHING FOR TWO SUSPECTS IN PODOLEO STREET MURDER

Nassau, Bahamas - Police have launched an intense island-wide search for two armed suspects responsible for the shooting death of a man that occurred on Tuesday 28th July 2015.

According to reports, around 5:00pm, a man was walking on Podoleo Street with another man, when two males armed with handguns approached and fired several shots at them before fleeing on foot. The victim received multiple gunshot wounds and died from his injuries on the scene.The identity of the victim is being withheld pending identification by next of kin.

WANTED MAN TURNS HIMSELF IN TO POLICE - Shortly before 2:00pm on Tuesday 28th July 2015, Veandro Rahjiv Ferguson of the Forest Exuma, who escaped lawful custody from the George Town Station on Monday 27th July 2015, turned himself into police on that Island. Ferguson was in custody for Unlawful Sexual Intercourse.
