RBPF seized 9 lbs of marijuana - U.S. visitor arrested for drug possession

4 IN CUSTODY FOR DRUG POSSESSION

Nassau, Bahamas - Excellent ‘Police Work’ by officers from the Mobile Division has led to the arrest of two males and two females for possession of dangerous drugs on Friday 29th January 2016.

Reports are that shortly after 8:00pm, Mobile Division Officers acting on information conducted a search of a home located on Fleming Street, where they uncovered 9 pounds of marijuana. Two adult males and two adult females were subsequently arrested and taken into custody.

US VISITOR IN CUSTODY FOR DRUG POSSESSION

Police took an adult male US Visitor from Ft. Lauderdale into custody for possession of dangerous drugs on Friday 29th January 2016.

Reports are that shortly after 9:00am, officers from the Tourism Policing Unit, conducted a search of a suspicious male visitor at Prince George Wharf and found a quantity of marijuana in his possession. The suspect was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.
