Suspects sought in Sunday Nassau Village shooting

Nassau, Bahamas - According to reports, shortly after 9:30am on Sunday 27th September 2015, a man was walking on Alexandria Boulevard, Nassau Village, when two males pulled up in a Light blue Hyundai vehicle and shot him before speeding off. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

A short while later police recovered the getaway car in the South Beach area.

Investigations are ongoing.

HANDGUN SEIZED BY POLICE

According to reports, shortly after 2:00pm on Sunday 27th September 2015, officers from the Eastern Division acting on information went to Pine Yard Road, where they uncovered a handgun along with 9 rounds of ammunition. No one was arrested for this find.

POLICE SEARCHING FOR ARM ROBBERY SUSPECTS

According to reports, shortly after 9:00pm on Sunday 27th September 2015, a man was sitting down in front of a home on St. James Road, when a group of males approached armed with a handgun and robbed him of cash and a cell phone before fleeing on foot.

Investigations are ongoing.
