Tuesday morning murder: Police seek public's help

Nassau, Bahamas - According to reports, sometime around 6:45am on Tuesday 12 August 2014, police received reports of the body of a male found lying in the street at Sumner Street off Soldier Road.

Officers responded to the scene and discovered a male lying in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds to the head. The male is believed to have been dead for about nine hours. Police are appealing for any information that will help to advance this investigation.

The deceased was being sought in two recent murders.

POLICE are appealing to anyone with information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands)
