Freeport, Grand Bahama Island - As final plans are in the making for the Annual All White Affair slated for May 17th, 2014, we, the Red Rose Ball Committee are proud to recognize some of sponsors leading up to the event. When the committee sent out the clarion plea to our neighbouring Islands for support to this worthy cause there was no hesitation to helping, we wish to say a special Thank you to “A SURE WIN” for listening and committing to our call by accepting to be a Part-Sponsor with the Red Rose Ball Committee.

We are especially grateful not only for the sponsorship, but for understanding and helping our brothers and sister on another island, speak volume. We the committee are convinced that your support to this year's All White Affair Fundraising Events"either in cash or in kind, you have done so because of your dedication to the fight against HIV/AIDS in our community and the wider Bahamas. This fight, this disease challenges all of us and every country in the world has had to address the issue of HIV/AIDS and finding sufficient human and financial resources to combat this problem. We are happy that A Sure Win stepped up to the plate.

To combat HIV/AIDS requires the forging of partnership locally, regionally and internationally, and “A Sure Win” has rolled up its sleeves and taken the necessary action to set a president for other to follow. We have now come to recognize that HIV/AIDS is more than a medical or scientific problem, but one that has poignant human and social consequences. This event is recognition of this and it would not be possible without the partnership of businesses like “A Sure Win” and other private, non-governmental and governmental sectors. As the call goes out globally the need for more sponsors becomes more important.

As we seek to continue to solicit sponsorship support and raise funds that will further our strategies to combat HIV/AIDS remember that we are ultimately talking about lives and futures, men, women, brothers and sisters and as such our efforts will work to ensure that we break the hold of stigma and discrimination that is hindering most of our efforts.

Again, we say “THANK YOU!” to ‘A Sure Win” and trust this will ignite others to follow in your footsteps to supporting a worthy cause. We look forward to a wonderful evening on May 17th, 2014 as Nassau and Freeport comes together in combating this dreaded disease.
