Nassau, New Providence - The Bahamas Humane Society would like to inform the public that the Drawing date for date for the BHS Raffle has changed! The draw will be made on January 30th, 2016. If you have not yet bought your tickets, they are still available at the shelter and from members and Board members. If you have already bought your tickets, we thank you! and remind to you hold on to your stubs until January 30th, 2016. The BHS Thrift Shop will be holding a 'Half-y New Year' special on Saturday, January 2nd from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All items will be half price. If you haven't yet come to see the Thrift Shop, now is a great time to check us out! If you've been thinking of volunteering with us, but aren't sure you can work with the animals, the Thrift Shop is a good option. Shop hours are 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wed/Thurs/Fri and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Donations of gently used items gratefully accepted! All the best for a healthy and prosperous 2016!
