Recently students from the Bahamas National Trust's (BNT) Discovery Club in North and Central Andros came together to share experiences about their clubs and all the special activities they did during the school year. This was their second Share and Care event which the BNT hopes to make an annual event.

This year six Discovery Clubs including Red Bays, Behring Point, Bowen Sound, Fresh Creek and Nicholl's Town Discovery Clubs joined the event including the third grade students from Staniard Creek. As a part of the event students visited Blue Holes National Park, gave presentations on what they've learned through Discovery Club and enjoyed time together.

Additionally, Burnt Rock and High Rock Discovery Clubs ended the school year with a joint camp out on Mangrove Cay. "It is amazing that Blue Holes National Park was created before these children were even born," said Liz Brace, BNT Education Officer. "We are fulfilling our mission to preserve green spaces for the enjoyment and benefit of future generations. We hope to bring all Andros together next year with the financial support of the public, young earth warriors and citizen scientist are making a difference."
