Operation Potcake is back!

Feb. 26 - 28, we will be holding a cat clinic at the Bahamas Humane Society in New Providence, and two clinics in Georgetown, Exuma.

For more information on the cat clinic in New Providence, click here.

For more information on the Exuma clinics, click here.

Both clinics are looking for volunteers along with donations of materials, and funding.  If you are able to help out in any way, please contact Laura Kimble/BHS Nassau (kimblelaura@gmail.com) or Lissa McCombe/Exuma (lissastingray@yahoo.com).  Please note we will not be providing housing in Exuma; you will need to have your own place to stay.  If you have carriers or crates that we could borrow, please, that would also be appreciated!

Planning ahead:

Coming up, we have Quiz Night on Tuesday, February 23rd at Green Parrot, East Bay.  Teams of 2 - 6 people.  Registration fee is 410 per person.  Registration begins at 7 p.m. and questions start promptly at 7:30 p.m.  Come test your trivia knowledge and help support the animals.  Proceeds from this evening will be used for the upcoming Operation Potcake clinics.  More information can be found here (click) at Facebook.

The BHS will have a booth at the BKC Dog Show, March 19th and 20th, Clifford Park.

We will also be participating in the Green Earth Festival, to be held at Fort Charlotte, on April 23rd and 24th.

The Bahamas Humane Society Ball will be held on Saturday, May 7th at the British Colonial Hilton.  more information to follow.

Thank you to all those who have come out to support the BHS events and the Thrift Shop sales!

Ladies, if you're looking for trousers or jeans, now's the time to come and check out the Thrift Shop!  This week we are offering a buy one/get one (of equal or lesser value) sale!  Shop hours are 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wed/Thurs/Fri and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.  Offer ends Saturday, February 21st.
