Nassau, Bahamas - We hope you are keeping an eye out for the banners that have started to be hung for the BHumane Banner Campaign.  They're along West Bay Street, Tonique Williams-Darling Highway, Wulff Road and in the Mall at Marathon area.  The banners look fabulous and will hopefully help to bring people's attention to the BHS and the work we do.  Thank you again to Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch for sponsoring this campaign.  Thank you also to the people who purchased banners.  They will be able to keep theirs at the end of the campaign.

The Animal Fun Day in now just over a week away!  If you haven't already done so, be sure to mark Sunday, February 26th in your calendar.  Sponsored by Pedigree, this is a fun-filled day of activities held at the Botanical Gardens.  Bring your family.  Bring your dog!  There will be games, ring events, food, and more.  Gates open at noon and close at 6 p.m.  Attached is the Dog Show entry form (below) for the ring events at the Fun Day.

After you leave the Fun Day, head over to Jacaranda House at 6 p.m. for another magical evening of music with Foley and Hepburn.  The $125.00 cost includes dinner and wine, and proceeds will be donated to The Bahamas Humane Society. Our thanks to Jacaranda House for hosting this event, and my apologies for omitting it from my email last week.

It's still not too late to volunteer if you'd like to help us out on the 26th or to bring baked goods and other yummy treats!  Please contact me or Laura Kimble (kimblelaura@gmail.com) if you are able to help out with either.

If you haven't already purchased your raffle tickets, please be sure to do so before they're all gone!  Tickets are available at the Shelter, from BHS members and Board members, at ScotiaBank Bay Street, and at the Fun Day.  Tickets are $20.00 each or $100.00 for a book of six.  The raffle draw will be held on March 31st at the Disco Night at the Sheraton Cable Beach Resort.

We look forward to seeing you!

Linda
