Grand Bahama Health Services continues to improve its services in keeping with the vision of the Public Hospitals Authority to be the model of excellence for health services delivery, meeting the needs and enhancing the health of the people of The Bahamas, and in this case, the northern Bahamas. Our mission is to ensure proficient, efficient management and delivery of all services under our responsibility by continuous assessment of the health needs of Grand Bahama and its associated communities.

In this vein, Hawksbill Clinic has reopened with renovated and refurbished facilities, the operational hours of Eight Mile Rock Clinic were extended to 9:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, and an increase in access to primary health care services was realized with the implementation of a Chronic Non-Communicable Disease (CNCD) Clinic in Freeport at Pearce Plaza, Coral Road on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Therefore the public is advised to visit the nearest community health clinic for service.
