Grand
Bahama Health Services continues to improve its services in keeping
with the vision of the Public Hospitals Authority to be the model of
excellence for
health services delivery, meeting the needs and enhancing the health of
the people of The Bahamas, and in this case, the northern Bahamas. Our
mission is to ensure proficient, efficient management and delivery of
all services under our responsibility by continuous
assessment of the health needs of Grand Bahama and its associated
communities.
In
this vein, Hawksbill Clinic has reopened with renovated and refurbished
facilities, the operational hours of Eight Mile Rock Clinic were
extended to 9:00
p.m. Monday - Friday, and an increase in access to primary health care
services was realized with the implementation of a Chronic
Non-Communicable Disease (CNCD) Clinic in Freeport at Pearce Plaza,
Coral Road on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00
p.m. Therefore the public is advised to visit the nearest community
health clinic for service.
