Freeport, Bahamas - P & W Global Mission (P&WGM) an up and coming charitable organization based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida has once again offer to assist the Red Rose Ball Committee with a donation of some 20 Computers for its Health Education Resource Centre. We the RRBC are so pleased to accept this donation of computers from P & W Global Mission who has been supporting our efforts for the past 3 years, this organization has  not only given us these equipments, P&W Global Mission has also offered and ensured us that once the building is completed they will bring in their Information Technology team to properly install the computers along with other IT equipments that will allow us to retrieve up-to-date research/information as it relates to HIV/AIDS.

This is certainly the type of help that is needed for us to assist in getting our message out to the youth of our nation and the wider community. As the journey continues and the road to success is becoming clearer with each passing day we are beginning to see the light at the end of our journey, as we are 60% of the way to completion we are ever so grateful to our Corporate Partners and individual supporters who have been on this journey with us from its inception.

This past year has seen us begin the process of braking ground for an edifice to cater to the ongoing education of HIV/AIDS a goal of the Red Rose Ball committee from the establishment of the committee. The vision has been made a reality and the reality is about to have a positive impact on our society as a means to provide Education, knowledge, Research, Workshops and understanding as to how to deal with persons affected/infected with HIV/AIDS.

It is through this avenue that we will be able to engage the community with written and verbal information on the availability and access to healthy life styles, treatment and preventative measures for their love ones. Whilst there have been some setbacks the ultimate goal of messaging and information gathering will be accomplished to help us better service the needs of persons.

During the construction we continue to work with the schools to preserve and enrich their lives through educating them on the right choices, being leaders of positive influence, assisting others and imparting necessary knowledge for a healthy and productive lifestyle through The Youth to Youth message programme TEEN PEP sponsored by the United States Embassy for the past 3 years.

As a community we must not waiver in our goals to bring good health to our communities and by extension the entire Bahamas. Our message is far reaching and has seen members of our Committee being called on to speak on the National and International stage about how we have come thus far in our journey to educate the masses on HIV/AIDS.  In doing so, we have received noted awards and monetary grants to aid in our journey, however this is not enough as we continue to strive to reach that goal where we are able to reach and assist all persons within our communities that are affected albeit directly or indirectly with this disease.

It is with this great task that lies before us that we encourage you our supporters to continue to believe in our vision and offer your kindness and help us to keep it moving with your contributions to our objectives in the provision of a healthy lifestyle for all. Again, we thank P&W Global Mission for this generous support and look forward to continued partnership for a better and healthier Grand Bahama for citizens and visitors.
