Freeport, The Bahamas - The Red Rose Ball Committee will hold it’s now popular and top Social Event Cocktail Reception under the theme, “Tavern on the Greens, A Black and White Affair” on Saturday, May 14th, 2011 at the beautiful courtyard at Nesbitt’s Rentals and Event Center. The atmosphere is fresh and spectacular; the supporters are already excited and engaging regarding the venue as they converse with friends and associates that they cannot wait for the entire event to unfold. It will be a Tavern on the greens under a graciously decorated Huge Tent provided by Nesbitt’s Rental. The area will be design for an elegant cocktail affair.

Our supporters will be provided a space to dance the night away to the sounds of the ever popular Matrix Live Band, enjoy conversations with friends and business associate while supporting a worthy cause. Attendees will also have an opportunity to win one of our many In-House raffle prizes at a cost of $5.00 each, pose for memorable photos taken by cRazzi Photographers and Shan Elliot, enjoy the best in foods prepared by one of Grand Bahamas’ top notch Chefs and sipped on rich wines and other mixed beverages on the night available at an open cash Bar.

We have not forgotten our purpose, as it is to encourage our patrons and supporters to give to the continued development and support of the Grand Bahama AIDS Awareness Committee as they continue the task of providing much needed information regarding AIDS Education.  As we are all a part of this community, the affects of such a disease causes great disruptions to the lives of all persons within our reach. As responsible citizens we have an obligation to ensure the well being and productive growth of our communities. We must therefore engage in all possible matters that will create and sustain an environment for good health and prosperity, not only for ourselves, but for others, because it is through giving that we all benefit and achieve greatness.

Once again, we the committee members say thank you for your patronage and continued support of the Annual Cocktail Reception and The Ball. Both events have become the Top Social Events of Grand Bahama. We ask that you save the date: November 5th, 2011 for the Annual Red Rose Ball and stay tuned to the radio, newspaper and television for information regarding the upcoming event, it will be our 11th, Anniversary and it should not be missed by any living being on the Island of Grand Bahama.
