Ride for Hope Bahamas launch Email Auction for $7000 Custom Bicycle

Ride for Hope Bahamas is auctioning a custom bicycle to raise money for cancer research, education, and treatment program in The Bahamas. Parts of the bike were kindly donated by supporters, and have come together to make a very sweet ride with a value of over $7000!

The Email Auction will Close on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 3:00pm.

The highest bid received at or before 3:00pm on December 16, 2011 wins.

The Custom Bicycle has the following components:

• 56cm Cervélo frame & fork
• SRAM 7 piece Red group set
• Rotor crank set
• Mavic wheels
• Custom Ride for Hope paint by Hot Tubes
• Pika Packworks bike bag

Value: $7,329

Current Highest Bid: $4000 (as at 12noon on November 24, 2011)

Bidding (raise) increments: $100

How to bid:

Send an email to info@rideforhopebahamas.com with the following information:

· Your Full Name
· Your telephone number
· The bid amount in Bahamian dollars
· “I am bidding on the Ride for Hope branded bicycle as shown in photos at www.facebook.com/ RideforHope242. The value listed is an estimate of the fair market value. As a bidder, I assume all responsibilities related to the auction and the bicycle should I win. I agree to hold Ride for Hope Bahamas harmless from any liability. The highest bidder is required to provide payment by cheque, cash, or credit to Ride for Hope within 2 business days. Ride for Hope will disclose the name of the winner and release pictures of the winner with the bicycle, Ride for Hope staff, and sponsors to the press. By participating in the auction, I accept this.”
