The Annual Heart Ball is the major fundraiser to aid The Sir Victor Sassoon (Bahamas) Heart Foundation. The proceeds of this event help the Heart Foundation to repair the hearts of children who cannot ordinarily afford heart care. Heart care is not cheap. One surgery, unless negotiated can cost over $100,000. Member of the public can also help the Foundation by: making donations to The Heart Foundation, supporting sponsored events, purchasing “Go Red” pins that were donated by Bahamas Health and joining The Bahamas Heart Association.

In the words of the Heart Ball Committee’s Public Relations Officer, Ingrid Sears,

“The Heart Ball is truly grateful to all who have helped to make this year’s event a great success. Without our sponsors, our donors and the support of the public, we would not be able to assist The Heart Foundation. We would not be able to save children’s live. The ability to save one life is a step to save our future. Thank you. The 2013/2014 Heart Ball Committee is grateful that we are able to continue a work that started with a vision to save lives. We encourage the public to continue to help us as we move forward.”

The 50th Annual Heart Ball is proudly sponsored by: Cable Bahamas, John Bull , Virgin Atlantic, Burns House, The Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas, Bahamasair, Scotiabank, Pictet Bank, Royal Bank, G & M Appliances, Floral Arts, The Salus Project, Barefoot Marketing, Going Places Travel, The Tribune, The Nassau Guardian, TheBahamasWeekly.com, Bahamaislandsinfo.com, More 94 FM, Love 97, Island FM, JCN Network, and Star 106.5 FM.
