AML Foods Limited, the parent company of food outlets Solomon’s, Solomon’s Fresh Market, Cost Right Wholesale Club, Domino’s and Carl’s Jr., recently donated $2,500 to the Bahamas National

Feeding Network (BNFN), one of 10 charitable organizations, during a presentation at the company’s head office on Blue Hill Road.

The five outlets each gave $5,000 towards the initiative resulting in a total of $25,000 being split evenly among the ten charities.

“We are very happy to be able to donate to your most important cause,” Renea Knowles, vice president marketing & communications AML Foods Limited. “We recognize the work you do every day to help those who are less fortunate and we appreciate it.”

The gift cards, designed to be used at Solomon’s, Solomon’s Fresh Market, Cost Right Wholesale Club, Domino’s or Carl’s Jr. outlets were distributed to the Bahamas Feeding Network, St. Joseph’s Adult Day Care Center, The Cancer Society, Bilney Lane Children’s Home for the Disabled and The Bahamas Heart Foundation in New Providence and The Grand Bahama Home for The Aged, The Bahamas Red Cross, The Salvation Army, Reach Out Youth Organization and The Pace Center in Grand Bahama.

“The items purchased from this donation will assist us in providing food to more than 70 churches and feeding organizations in our network,” said Philip Smith, executive director Bahamas National Feeding Network. “The partnership between the Network and AML Foods has been rewarding for all involved and we are extremely grateful to AML Foods Limited and the participating outlets for this generous contribution.”
