Freeport, Grand Bahama - Domino’s Pizza announced today that it will be relocating its Queen’s Highway location and expanding to a bigger Pizza Theatre Store in the RND Shopping Plaza in July.

“To meet the great demand in the Freeport Market we are expanding and opening up a bigger and brighter store”, says Lageisha Rolle, District Manager, Domino’s Pizza Grand Bahama. “The new store comes at a time when Domino’s is celebrating 25 years in The Bahamas and 20 years in Grand Bahama, and is a testament of our commitment to our loyal customers as well as our faith in the Grand Bahama economy”. The announcement also comes on the heels of the introduction of online ordering to the market.

The Pizza Theatre concept includes many exciting features like an open kitchen so customers can watch the entire pizza making process from start to finish and a digital Pizza Tracker that allows for the electronic tracking of carryout orders. The new store will also include a state of the art spacious dining room so that customers can sit in and enjoy an evening out. Mrs. Rolle also indicated that with the expansion there will be new job opportunities. Interested persons should contact the Human Resources Department, in the Corporate Office located at Solomon’s Freeport, Queen’s Highway.

One thing that isn’t new is Domino’s support of the local community. For the past few years Domino’s has given back to a number of schools through their “Pizza for Points” Program, helping them to purchase much needed sporting supplies and electronic equipment. Domino’s announced today that they will now be transitioning to a new program known internationally as “Dough Raising”. The Program is even more beneficial to not only schools, but also local charitable organizations, as it helps them to participate in raising money for their cause. With Dough Raising, on a chosen date, the participating school or charity will promote the event to their students and supporters, and encourage them to order Domino’s Pizza. Domino’s will then donate a percentage of sales for every order placed on that night that is tied to the event, to the school or group.
