Freeport, Bahamas The 1st Annual Grand Bahama Cycling Club (GBCC) Time Trial Championships was successfully held on Saturday October 4th, 2015 and proved to be a competitive event. Organizer, Rowshan Jones said, "I'd like to once again thank all of the participants from coming out and supporting the event as well as all of the volunteers who came out and assisted with timing and marshaling the route. I'd also like to thank our sponsor Roker's Auto for helping to make this event happen."

One mishap occurred before the event, when one of the participants had a nasty fall, which resulted in injuries that concerned everyone. However, he persevered and insisted in participating in the event despite everyone objections. In the end he successfully completed the event and demonstrated his Warrior Spirit. "A special shout out goes to Kenton Roker who defied the odds and successfully completed the full time trial event despite being well under 100%!" said Jones.

The women's Category 1 Division proved to be the most competitive division with possibly the two best female cyclists in the Bahamas going head to head for the title. The "Indomitable" Vicki Stafford clashed with the "Giant Killer" Shannon McBrayer to see who would take the Crown of Female Time Trial Champion for Grand Bahama.

The men's Category 1 Division initially was a bit more decisive with first timer to a G.B.C.C. event, David Mellor roaring through the field and picking off "Minute Men" like his name was Fabian Cancellara. However, a missed turn proved to be to his detriment and opened the door for the rest of the field to enter into what seemed to be a One Man Party.
