Bahamas Judo Federation athletes all medal in Florida

Bahamas
Judo had it's best international performance ever at the Florida Open
on February 25th. All 18 athletes medalled! Some attained multiple medals for multiple
divisions. In total a haul was made of 9 gold, 8 silver and 7 bronze. Trophies for 2nd
Best Team overall, and best male senior athlete (Joshua Mcfall).
"This is the
best performance we have ever had as a federation," said Sensei D'Arcy of the Bahamas Judo Federation. Three promotions to
Black Belt by victory over other Black Belts. Best senior male athlete
trophy (Joshua Mcfall). 2nd place overall team. Wow. Our sport has
tipped."
"It will
be difficult to decide the final team for CARIFTA. But one thing we will
know for sure is that every team member will be an international
medalist."
