Barcelona, SPAIN - The 2012 world Junior Championships is underway. Bahamian sports photographer, Kermit Taylor is at the track and will be delivering updates to TheBahamasWeekly.com.

Anthonique Strachan won Heat 7 today hands down in Barcelona at the 2012 World Junior Track and Field Championships...


The video above is an interview right after the race. This is Strachan's last year as a junior.  She is the winner in both the 100 and 200 meter.

In the women 400m finals Shaunae Miller ran out of lane 4 and was in a stacked final. After it was all said and done she would finished 4th. Here is Shaunae's post on her facbook page "Thanks to all those that supported me. Unfortunately this is apart of track and field...you win some you lose some but regardless I give God the thanks and praise and I'm grateful he brought me this far". What a class act.
