Nassau, Bahamas - Coming NEXT, it's the Open National Track and Field Championships. Sports enthusiasts will be treated to high level World Class track and field competition when the top collegiate, senior and elite Bahamian athletes return home to compete on Friday, 25 June (6 p.m.) and Saturday, 26 June (3 p.m.).
The next generation of athletes are ready to make their presence felt and challenge the our World and Olympic athletes. Athletes will be competing for spots on the upcoming North America, Central America and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) Under 23, Central American & Caribbean (CAC) Games and Commonwealth Games, during the summer. Impressive performances have already been achieved by many of our top collegiates and elites so far for the year. A prelude to what we can expect from a "Changing of the Guard" to the London 2012 Olympic Games.
