NASSAU, The Bahamas -- The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture in conjunction with The Bahamas Association of Athletic Associations (BAAA's) held a press conference on Friday, March 10, at the Ministry to update the public on upcoming events including The Bahamas High School Nationals and the BAAA's High School Relays. Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture the Hon. Dr. Danny Johnson announced the events are starting Wednesday March 15 - 17 with the high school relays and ending with the test event, the nationals, March 18 and 19. Minister Johnson also announced that plans are in the works for a sports academy and a sports hotel to house athletes participating in future events such as these.
