NASSAU, Bahamas – “You will get dirty!”was the promise made to everyone willing to challenge themselves, and Run Dirty and BahamaHealth surely delivered!

Participants gathered at Fort Charlotte at 6am on Saturday, October 24, 2015 for BahamaHealth’s first “Run Dirty” event -- a 5k endurance course of obstacles through sand, sea and mud designed to promote wellness, fitness and teamwork.

"Run Dirty 2015 was a resounding success,” said Alana Major, BahamaHealth’s Senior Manager of Group sales and Run Dirty organizer. “The event will certainly go down in history as an innovative approach to wellness, fitness and teamwork. Our goal was to encourage all participants to challenge themselves to new levels of wellness and fitness.”

The walk/run route included the main streets of Nassau, with the dirty segment taking place at Junkanoo Beach and Fort Charlotte. Obstacles included a muddy leopard crawl, scaling a slanted wall, crawling through a tunnel, “Carry Me” (stretcher edition), an RBDF drill station and more.
