Bahamas Jr. Fed Cup Wins against Panama

Team Bahamas wins 3 0 against Panama in Jr. Fed Cup action.  The three member team of Peyton Anderson, Gabrielle Simms and Perjae Major played exceptionally well to get a clean sweep.

After coming extremely close in their previous two matches against Trinidad and Tobago and Curacao, Bahamas achieved its first team win for the competition in El Salvador.

First up Gabrielle Simms played Aguilar and won easily 6-2, 6-1. Peyton Anderson followed up with another great win for Team Bahamas 6-2, 6-2 against Gallindo. The doubles duo of Peyton and Perjae Major sealed the win with 6-4, 7-6 (8).

The team is coached by Marion Bain. After matchplay today Coach Bain stated  "Our young ladies are playing well, they are giving their all in each match."

Bahamas plays Cuba tomorrow for a playoff placement for 9th-15th. The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association encourages the team to continue to give their best efforts as they represent the country well.
