Bahamas Men’s National Beach Soccer Team Announced

Nassau, Bahamas - Weeks of preparation have come to a conclusion, and with only 9 days before the team departs for El Salvador for the CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship, March 28 – April 4, 2015. The Bahamas Football Association confirms the names of the players who will represent the country. Under the direction of Head Coach Roberto Ceciliano and Assistant Coaches Stephen Bellot and Julian Smith, the team named as follows:

The team departs Bermuda on Thursday March 26, for the second leg of the qualifier with the overall winner to face Guatemala in the second ro und.

The team has been in training for several with intensive training sessions conducted on weekend by the coaching staff. According to Roberto,” the team is well prepared and we expect to advance to the final round.” “The team is in great mental and physical shape."

The team departs for El Salvador on Thursday March 26, and will get their first of action on Saturday march 28 against newcomer Antigua and Barbuda. The Bahamas’ second match will come on Monday March 30, against Barbados and the final group match, the team will face the US. The top two teams from the group will advance to the round of eight. The expectation is that the team will advance to the final four and from there anything can happen.
