Nassau, Bahamas -- During the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Bahamas 2017 games, H.E. Tony Joudi, Ambassador to the UAE and State of Qatar, paid a visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) team at the Malcolm Soccer Stadium before their game on April 30th where the UAE team played Panama’s team.

Ambassador Joudi extended a warm welcome to the group and shared insight about The Bahamas Pavilion that will be part of Expo Dubai 2020. Members of the team extended an invitation to Ambassador Joudi to attend FIFA World Cup UAE 2017 in December.

The visa waiver agreement signed with the United Arab Emirates on November 2016 is now in effect and it means that UAE citizens can now enter The Bahamas without a visa and stay up to 90 days as tourists and Bahamian citizens can travel to the UAE with the same privileges. Ambassador Joudi was part of the delegation that made the agreement possible.
