Young Bahamian Philip Major lost Wednesday, 6-2, 6-3 to the American Quentin Vega at the ITF Turkey F6 Futures.

Philip has started his tennis year off in stellar fashion with the three main draw participation. He will have one more chance this upcoming week on this tour as he competes along with Joshua Turnquest in the next Pro Circuit Tournament in Turkey.

Philip Major continued to blaze through the qualifying rounds on the international tennis stage as he was able to get a convincing win over Julian Onken of Germany. Major faced Onken who was seeded 6th in the tournament and won 6-4,6-0. The win qualified Philip to enter the main draw.

This was the third time in three weeks he played in the Main Draw of an International Tennis Pro Circuit Event. He is definitely making a name for himself in the European Region.

Philip has been very successful with wins over Mert Altinalev from Turkey 6-2,6-3. Philip then played the 9th seeded player Milan Habrman from Slovakia 6-2,6-2. This two month tour on the Pro Circuit continues to garner much exposure and attention for the 19 year old Bahamian tennis standout athlete.
