The Bahamas Amateur Wrestling Federation will take part in the first Caribbean SuperWeek, an initiative to further develop Olympic-style wrestling throughout the Caribbean.

Caribbean SuperWeek kicked off in Barbados on Monday, March 18. The program, which was developed by United World Wrestling (UWW), the international federation for wrestling, offers training for athletes, referees, coaches and administrators of wrestling federations throughout the Caribbean. A beach wrestling event will be the finale of the week-long program.

The team is pictured on arrival in Barbados with a representative of the Barbados Wrestling Association.
