Philip Major has shined brightly in the Qualifying Rounds in the ITF Pro Circuit. In the first round of The Turkey F4 Futures which is being held in Antalya Turkey, Philip Wilbert Major from The Bahamas defeated Matteo Vialmin from Switzerland 6-0 4-6 6-4. Major advanced to the second Round of the Qualifying Round and obtained a walkover on Ergeneman from Turkey. Major then faced P Czechoslovakia where he defeated him in two sets 7-5 6-2.
Bahamian Joshua Turnquest was also a participant in this tournament. He played well but lost to Quentin Coulard of France.
Philip must continue his excellent play as he faces Anil Yuksel from Turkey tomorrow in the 1st Round of the Main Draw. The main draw will be played from January 26-31 2016.
