26 Bahamian rugby players are in Miami, Florida for the Rugby Americas North Under 19's tournament.

"Out of the 26 players who have traveled to Miami, 21 of the young men are from Freeport!" said a Freeport Rugby Football League statement.

"What an achievement by all the coaches of our youth system. We wish the boys well. Special thanks to Nigel Kirkby, Justin Lewis and Ben Powers for getting the Freeport guys ready and Kyle Charlton for organizing the Nassau crew."

The first game is against Jamaica on Tuesday, July 12th.

The annual 2016 RAN Superweek goes from July 9th-16th and features 23 matches, 14 teams and a variety of administrative and educational events to further develop rugby in the region.
