Paradise Island, Bahamas - Eight teams will participate in the inaugural
Battle 4 Atlantis
on November 24-27, 2011 during the richest Division I Men’s pre-season
college basketball tournament. The pulse-pounding event will be
televised live from the famed Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island, Bahamas
on VERSUS and the all high-definition, HDNet.
Current 2011 champions
University
of Connecticut will battle against
College of Charleston, Florida State University,
Harvard University, UNC Asheville, University of Central Florida (UCF),
University of Massachusetts and
University of Utah
in a 12-game tournament television broadcast live to millions of sports
fans nationwide. VERSUS will air daily coverage of the tournament
at 2 pm ET and 4:30 pm ET as well as the championship game on November
26 at 4:30 pm ET, while HDNet will broadcast the daily 7:00 pm and 9:30
pm games starting on November 24 (please check your local listings).
